What transactions require ID verification in-store?
Any time your account information is accessed in a Cricket retail location, an ID is required. Examples include:
- Bill Pay
- Add a Line
- Feature Addition and Removal
- Rate Plan Changes
- Account Information Changes (name, address, email address, passcode)
What transactions can I do in-store without ID verification?
- Bill Pay via QuickPay
- New Account Setup
- Accessory Purchases
How do I update the name on my account to match my ID?
You can call Customer Service at 1-800-CRICKET (274-2538) to update your account information, including the name on your account.
I don't have a photo ID; can you still help me?
Review the list of transactions above where a photo ID is required in-store. Not all transactions require a photo ID. You can also call Customer Service at 1-800-CRICKET (274-2538) for help or use our self-service options online at My Account and through the myCricket app.
